About Atelier Bingo:
Atelier Bingo are Maxime Prou & Adèle Favreau; a duo from France, renowned for their colourful and abstract works, spanning illustration, surface pattern and graphic design. Their Matisse-influenced aesthetic coupled with their hands-on process of brainstorming ideas using colorful paper cutouts, allow them to build works spontaneously, with playful layers and colours.
About the Workshop: FLOWER POWER
These workshops will be all about experimenting with pattern, shape and collage, and focus on the theme of Flower Power! Participants will work using analogue processes to create a series of compositions, centred around Bingo’s creative process. Throughout the afternoon, we will work together to print an explosive variety of editions, where everyone will leave with a stack of colourful prints.
Workshop Outcome: Multiple, assorted prints
Print focused illustrators, artists and designers from any background who are interested in exploring new processes and analogue techniques.
No riso experience required. Participants should come without a desired outcome in mind, and be open to experimenting and working in collaboration!
We will have a mix of mark making materials, but if you have favourite drawing materials, please bring them with you.
(Please ensure these are black, and not colour based)
Reference material is welcome: Botanical books, pictures, drawing, reference about FLOWER
